Based on survey responses from more than 22,000 parishioners and additional parish data, proposesd pastorate models have been prepared to encourage prayer, listening, and dialogue. Local Parish Journey in Faith Session #2
On October 5th, 8th, and 12th, we had an estimated 150 people in total participate in our Sacred Heart, St. Paul, and St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parishes for the Session #2 Journey in Faith process. During the meeting participants were able to learn more about the challenges and opportunities we face in the archdiocese.

This meeting is very important as we will be focusing on frequently asked questions, parameters for number of weekend Masses, feedback on proposed models, and other ideas we have for where our parish may be called by the Holy Spirit to belong in a pastorate for the next 25+ years. Parishioners are also encouraged to provide ideas via the feedback form of dbqjourneyinfaith.org which will be open through November 21st, 2025.

Why should you attend? - Journey in Faith is about setting forth a course to have vobrant and sustainable parishes focused on evangelization for the next 25+ years. This is your opportunity to be engaged and offer valuable feedback and in formation which will be considered prior to decisions being made by Archbishop Zinkula in the Spring of 2026.
